Players Trip, South Africa 30 Jan–9 Feb 2026

The Players Trip focused on South Africa’s best golf courses is back! Based on the excellent feedback from previous years, the trip will follow a very similar format. Around a dozen rounds will be played in the Johannesburg area on approximately nine different courses. Many of the courses are DP World Tour venues, meaning they are among the very best available!
The trip is based at the high-quality Randpark Resort, which is also home to the 5-star Fairway Hotel. Accommodation is in spacious Golf Villas located right next to the course, each with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Everyone has their own room! Explore the villas here.
The hotel is also home to two top-class golf courses, Firethorn and Bushwillow. Both courses hosted the European Tour in 2018.

This trip is the perfect choice for lovers of top-class golf courses and excellent, reasonably priced food. The courses are of true world-class standard, and their condition is at its best at the turn of January and February. South Africa’s rich food and wine culture is not only diverse but also very reasonably priced. Just a short taxi ride from the hotel, there are several safe areas offering fantastic dining—from superb steaks to high-quality Asian and Italian cuisine. For many visitors to South Africa, the food and wine are among the most talked-about highlights of the trip!

Preliminary course lineup:

Golf carts can be reserved in advance for all rounds. Price approx. €15 per round per person. If you would like to play with a cart, advance booking is recommended.
